Delete Your Account and Data

Your Right to Data Deletion

You can delete your SigmaGains account and all of its data at any time. You do it yourself in the app, and you do not need to contact us.

Delete Your Account

Open the SigmaGains app, or go to sigmagains.com in a web browser
Sign in with the same Apple or Google account you use with SigmaGains
Go to Profile
Tap "Delete account" and confirm

This permanently deletes your account and all of its data right away. It cannot be undone. The Android app does not offer Sign in with Apple, so if you use an Apple account, sign in at sigmagains.com instead.

Guest Accounts

A guest account lives on the device you used it on. Open SigmaGains on that device, go to Profile, tap "Delete guest data" and confirm.

Guest accounts that are not used for 13 months are deleted automatically.

Can't Sign In Any More?

If you no longer have access to the Apple or Google account you signed in with, ask us on our Discord server and we will help you delete your data. We may ask you to show that the account is yours first. Please do not post your email address or other personal details in a public channel; we will ask in a direct message if we need them.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

Your account profile and authentication data
All workout history and exercise logs
Personal preferences and settings
Any stored progress data and statistics
Account activity logs and metadata

Processing Time

Deleting from Profile happens immediately. Remaining copies in server logs, backups, and error reports expire within 90 days.

Data Retention After Deletion

Deleting your account removes your account and workout data from our database, and asks PostHog (our analytics provider) to delete the analytics events, crash reports, and session recordings tagged with your account ID, including those from guest use whose workouts you moved into the account. PostHog processes deletions in batches, so they can take a few weeks to disappear completely. Ask us on Discord if you want us to confirm they are gone.
